A small business seeks an enthusiastic and energetic administrative intern for a paid position. We are a 3-person home office on the Upper West Side selling photography and out-of-print books, with two publishing projects forthcoming in 2010. The position will be 10-15 hours per week, Mondays and Thursdays [possibly Wednesdays depending on our needs].
You must be competent in InDesign, Quickbooks, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. The job will entail shipping and receiving of books and other packages, contact management, putting transactions into Quickbooks, running errands, creating digital imagery for monthly photography proposals, and providing creative input while aiding in the layout of our catalog and forthcoming publications.
Pay is $10 an hour. Owner will be flexible with hours when there is a conflict with classes and is open to intern actively interviewing for other jobs.
